2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
Contact details. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details you include when you submit a quote request form, call us, email us, or message us on social media.
Service address and property details. The address where work is to be performed, along with access instructions, site conditions, and any details you provide about your plumbing, hydronic heating or water treatment systems.
Project information. Scope of work discussed, quotes and estimates issued, service history, and notes recorded by our office or technicians.
Billing information. Invoicing details and payment records. We do not collect or process credit card numbers through this Site.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:
Log data. IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies and similar technologies. Small files and identifiers placed on your device. See Section 5.
2.3 Information from other sources
We may receive information about you from Elevate Service Group Inc. or its affiliated companies where you are an existing customer of one of them and have requested services we provide, and from publicly available business directories.
3. How We Use Your Information

Respond to quote requests, service calls, and general enquiries
Schedule, perform, invoice and follow up on plumbing, hydronic heating and water treatment services
Dispatch technicians to your property, including for 24/7 emergency service
Complete and submit records required in connection with backflow testing and other work subject to municipal reporting or inspection requirements
Maintain service history so we can support equipment and systems we have previously worked on
Administer preventative maintenance programs and scheduled service agreements
Send you service updates, appointment confirmations and invoices
Send marketing communications where you have consented to receive them
Operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site
Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand how visitors use the Site
Detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud or misuse
Comply with our legal, regulatory and insurance obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We share personal information only in the following circumstances:
Municipal and regulatory authorities. Certain work, such as backflow prevention testing, may require us to file test results or related project details with the applicable municipal authority. This disclosure is a legal requirement and is not optional.
Within our corporate group. We may share information with Elevate Service Group Inc. and its affiliated companies where necessary to deliver services to you, coordinate work across trades, or administer shared business functions.
Service providers. Companies that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, scheduling and invoicing software, and communications tools. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Subcontractors. Where a project requires a trade we do not perform in house, we may share the information needed for that subcontractor to complete the work.
Insurers and professional advisors. Where reasonably required in connection with a claim, dispute or audit.
Legal authorities. Where required by law, subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, or where necessary to protect our rights, property or the safety of any person.
Business transfers. If Elevate Service Group Plumbing or Elevate Service Group Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Information will remain subject to this Policy or a successor policy providing comparable protection.

A note on testimonial images. Reviewer initials shown alongside testimonials on our Site are generated by a third-party avatar service. Only the reviewer's displayed name is passed to that service. No other personal information is transmitted.
6. Communications and Consent
We contact you by phone, email or text to respond to enquiries, confirm appointments, discuss quotes, and deliver services you have requested. These are service communications and are necessary to do the work you asked us to do.
We send marketing communications, such as newsletters, seasonal service reminders or promotions, only in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may withdraw consent at any time by using that link or by contacting us using the details in Section 15. Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service communications relating to work in progress.
7. Photographs of Completed Work
We photograph completed installations for quality control, warranty records, training and, in some cases, marketing.
We do not publish photographs that identify a residential customer, their address, or the interior of their home for marketing purposes without their permission. If we have used a photograph of your property and you would like it removed, contact us and we will remove it.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:
Quote requests that do not proceed: retained for a reasonable period so we can follow up, then deleted
Customer and project records: retained for the life of the customer relationship and afterwards for the period required to support warranty claims, respond to safety or code enquiries, and meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations
Backflow testing and other regulatory records: retained as required by applicable regulation
Website analytics data: retained according to the retention settings of the analytics provider
When information is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
No method of transmission over the internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure. While we work to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Information Stored Outside Canada
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Where this occurs, the information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities of that jurisdiction.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that service providers offer a comparable level of protection to that required under Canadian privacy law.

Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
Request deletion of personal information, subject to our legal, warranty and regulatory retention obligations

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Links to Other Sites
The Site contains links to websites we do not operate, including social media profiles and the website of Elevate Service Group Inc. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted to this page, and the effective date above will be updated. Where changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.
